2010-11 FVSU Cheerleading Tryouts Scheduled

The Fort Valley State University (FVSU) Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that tryouts for the 2010-2011 cheerleading squad will be held on August 2, 2010 in the Health & Physical Education Complex on the FVSU campus. The tryout session will begin 8:30 a.m. and continue until 6 p.m.  Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Tryout requirements are as follows:

• Proof of a current physical/medical exam (not older than 12 months);

(No student will be allowed to participate without proof of physical)

• A completed cheer tryout application (application available online at www.fvsusports.com or in the FVSU Athletics Department, Rm. 366 HPE Complex) 

ATTENTION: If you have previously completed an application, there is no need to submit a duplicate

All documents must be on file in the FVSU Athletics Department no later than 5 p.m. on July 27, 2010.  Documents may also be faxed or emailed to 478-314-9545 or williamsl@fvsu.edu.

ATTENTION: Current FVSU students must have at least a 2.0 GPA (cumulative/institutional) and should not have any pending or judiciary cases.
