In its biggest win of the season, men's basketball's D'Angelo Strickland earns the Wildcats Male Athlete of the Week award for Jan. 20-26. Strickland finished the 1-1 FVSU week with a 8.5-point, 4.0-rebound and 1-assist averages. The junior contributed 7 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in a late-game loss at Spring Hill College. Against rival Albany State, Strickland hit for 10 points to go with 6 rebounds, a blocked shot and a steal in the upset road win.
