Recording his first career double-figure tackle effort, Fort Valley State football linebacker Malik Harp is the Wildcat Male Athlete of the Week sponsored by Wildcat Nation for Sept. 18-24.

Harp from Orlando, Fla., recorded a team-high 10 total tackles, eight solo, to lead the Wildcats defense in a 31-9 victory at Kentucky State last Saturday afternoon. He also posted 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack to round out his day.

In FVSU's first four games, Harp leads the BlueDeath Defense with 26 total tackles and eight tackles for loss to go with one sack and two pass breakups.
