Antionna Jefferson led the Lady Wildcats (6-8; 4-1) in scoring with a game-high 20 points as Fort Valley State University defeat the Lady Bears of Miles College (7-8; 1-4) 98-62 Monday night, January 13 at the HPE Complex.
FVSU went to the lock room up 31-30 at halftime, as senior forward
Shytina Harley (Tampa, FL) led the way with 6 points and Javonne Brown's 7 points for Miles.
The Lady Wildcats shot 32.4 percent from the field and 70 percent from the free throw line, while Miles hit 42.3 percent on the floor and 87.5 percent at the line.
Jefferson hit on 7-of-16 shorts, 4-of-10 from behind the arc, 2-for-2 at the foul line; dished 5 assist and stole three balls. Harley and junior guard

Samirah Ali scored 15 points to lead Miles and Tiffany Stephens had 9 rebounds.
FVSU will travel to Memphis, TN on Thursday, January 16 to take on the Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen College in a 7:30 pm game.
