FORT VALLEY, GA (February 20, 2016) –
Daknequa White scored a game-high 22-points for the Lady Wildcats of Fort Valley State (10-15; 9-6) during their homecoming game 46-63 failure to Albany State University (12-12; 12-4) Saturday night at the HPE Complex.
White made seven of 18 baskets, three-threes, hit five free throws, grabbed three rebounds and blocked a shot.
Katice Williams had nine rebounds, while
Shereba Montgomery and
Brittnee Hazel each added eight rebounds and seven points.
Artisha Holston led the Lady Rams in scoring and rebounding with 16-points and 19 boards, while Zuri Frost and Keidra Green had 15-points apiece.
FVSU hit just 24.6% from the field and 55.6% at the line. ASU made 39% of their shots and 55.6% from the foul line.
