Fort Valley, GA- Fort Valley State University's Head Cheer Coach, Greta Renfus, announces the members of the 2018-2019 Cheer Team. The team had their annual cheer camp June 19-21, 2018 which consisted of teaching the incoming freshmen and new members the cheer routines. The Captains of this year's Cheer Team are Charisma Heath, Knilah Waters, and Aklimiyya Rushing; all seniors. The team will cheer during football as well as Men's and Women's Basketball season. Coach Renfus plans to attend cheer competitions this year which will be the first competition FVSU attends since being under her leadership.
