FVSU Women's Basketball Set to Tip-off Shortened Season February 5

FORT VALLEY, Ga. -- For the first time in 11 months, the Wildcats will take to the hardcourt! The Fort Valley State women's basketball team will tip-off a shortened dozen-game schedule starting the first weekend in February.

Under the direction of second-year head coach Andrea Williams, the Wildcats will put their new roster of talent to the test in a shortened 12-game docket. The 2021 FVSU abbreviated schedule will feature seven home games in the HPE Arena and five road contests with the opening contest being against rival Albany State in back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 5-6, in 5:30 p.m. starts.

With attendance limited to game personnel and teams, the FVSU will have pay-per-view video streaming. All 2021 Wildcats women's basketball and softball games in the spring semester can be seen for $5.40 per game or $31 for the entire semester. All current FVSU students will be given instructions and able to login for one free view of each game.
