Tiffany Conner

Arriving at the beginning of November 2019, Tiffany Conner started as the Fort Valley State women’s basketball assistant coach and helped the team take great strides with head coach Andrea Williams in their first year directing the program.

With Conner on the coaching staff, the Wildcats posted their most wins in a season in six years with a 13-14 season and was the first double-digit win campaign in four years.

In her first year, Conner helped create and run drills for the FVSU post players, which posted the highest offensive rebound average of 19.7 offensive boards in all of NCAA Division II. The assistant coach also prepared practice plans, scouting reports and monitored the academic progress of the Wildcats players.

Before coming to The Valley, Conner spent the previous two seasons as an assistant on the Labette Community College (Parsons, Kan.). Conner helped the Cardinals post a 44-17 combined two-year mark with back-to-back Region VI playoff trips. During the 2018-19 season, Labatte CC team was ranked No. 9 nationally in NJCAA Division II, finished 21-11 and worked to the Region VI semifinals. In her first Cardinals year, Conner helped the squad to a 23-6 record and trip to the Region VI tournament.

Conner’s collegiate coaching started at Rutgers University – Newark from June 2015 through August of 2017. Conner aided the Scarlet Raiders make their first ever appearance in the NJAC championship. The assistant coach also helped maintained the team’s social media account, oversaw recruiting and prepared scouting reports.

As a player, Tiffany was a key contributor to the University of South Florida’s 2013 NCAA Tournament run into the Second Round. Conner led the Bulls in rebounding (2012) and received the 2011 Golden Bull Award.

Conner earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in communications at USF. She also holds a master’s of science with a concentration in sport management from Southern New Hampshire University.
