Slade Jarman has been named Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Newcomer of the Week for the second straight week in week eight play as announced by the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) office.
Jarman (QB, 6-4, 220, JR) from Pensacola, FL., led the Wildcats to their fourth win (4-3) of the season and a 4-0 SIAC record in the 24-19 conference win over Central State. Jarman connected on 12-of-26 pass attempts for 144-yards and two touchdowns, while rushing nine times for 45-yards (5.0 average). His two touchdown completions of 18 and 23 yards came in the second half to help secure the victory.
