Posting the biggest rushing day of the season, running back Kentavious Thomas of football received the Wildcats Co-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6. Thomas carried the ball 13 times for a team season-best 76 yards and added a reception for another yard in the upset at Florida Tech, 33-29, last Saturday night. With 2-and-10 from the home 27-yardline, Thomas raced down to the 3-yardline before he was stopped to set up teammate QB Slade Jarman plunge to the end zone on the next play with the game-winning points with 4:49 left in the fourth quarter.
