Playing for the final time against her hometown team and rival, Jah'ne Brown of women's basketball earned the Wildcats Women's Athlete of the Week award. Brown had two solid performances to help FVSU take road victories at Allen University and Albany State. The senior averaged 12.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.0 steals per contest. At Allen, Brown netted 12 points on 6 of 13 shots with five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Last Saturday night, the Albany, Ga., native produced 13 points, seven boards, four steals, two assists and a blocked shot to defeat Albany State in overtime.
