With his best game of the season, football wide receiver Malik Route earned the Wildcats Male Athlete of the Week for Oct. 7-13. The junior led FVSU receiving with 8 catches for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns along with two more 2-point conversion receptions. His touchdown grabs went for six and 58 yards of the FVSU win, 77-34, at Central State.
