In Saturday's (December 3, 2011) match up with the Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen College, the Wildcats of Fort Valley State University (FVSU) looked to work a little magic of their own to get their first win of the season.  However, the spell cast by the Magicians proved too potent for the Wildcats to overcome as LeMoyne-Owen claimed a 71-46 win.

 The loss was the first conference stumble for FVSU this season.  Now 0-2, the Wildcats were led in scoring by newcomer Cecil Bent who finished with 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. 

 Calvin Stoudemire led the Magicians in scoring with 14 points.
