The Lady Wildcats of Fort Valley State University (FVSU) took their season record to 9-6 overall and 5-1 in conference play with an 84-53 win over the Lady Magicians of LeMoyne Owen College on Thursday Night (January 12
th) in the HPE Complex on the FVSU campus. The conference win was the third straight for the Lady Wildcats who were led in scoring by junior forward
Briana Shepherd who finished with 10 points, two rebounds, and three assists.
Carmenonique Dawson added nine points while
Shytina Harley and
Antionna Jefferson chipped in eight points each.
The Lady Wildcats are back in conference action on Saturday afternoon, January 19th, when they travel to Augusta, Georgia to meet the Lady Lions of Paine College at 1 p.m.
