Box Score ALBANY, GA (February 22, 2014) – Fort Valley State University Wildcats (17-7; 13-2) senior forward Brandon Davey (Warner Robins, GA) led the Wildcats with a double-double 32 points and 10 rebounds in the loss to Albany State University (13-12; 10-7) on Saturday.

Davey scored 23 of his 32 points in the first half, while going 8-of-11 form the field, 5-of-6 in 3-pointers and 2-for-2 at the foul line. James Lodman scored 10 points for ASU as they went to halftime up 43-38.

FVSU hit 51.9 percent of their shots and made 75.0 percent at the free throw line and ASU scored on 50.0 percent of their shots from the floor.

Davey made 11-of-19 shots from the field, 6-of-11 three's and 4-of-6 at the foul line for the game. Senior forward Corey Hunter (Cincinnati, OH) added 15 points, 7 rebounds, senior guard Joshuah Davis (Augusta, GA) had 11 points and senior point guard Anthony Bell (Detroit, MI) put in 10 and a game-high four assist.

Jamorris Gaines and Lodman led ASU with 15 points each and Darshtyn Baker dropped 14 points and Larry Bullock another 10.

FVSU scored on 44.1 percent of their shots for the game and ASU made 50.0 percent of theirs.

The Wildcats next game is Monday, February 24 as they host Claflin University in a rescheduled game at 7:30 pm
