MELBOURNE, FL (December 19, 2015) – The Lady Wildcats of Fort Valley State University (1-9) did not stand a chance in last night's contest with Florida Tech University (8-2) as the team fell 45-72 at the Clemente Center.
Freshman point guard
Ricarsha Johnson (Thomasville, GA) scored 8-points to lead FVSU, while
Jayme Gilbert added another 7points. Junior forward
Briunca Caldwell (Fairburn, GA) had 6 rebounds.
The Lady Wildcats scored on just 25% of shooting by going 15-of-60 from the floor, making 4-of-17 threes for 23.5% and hitting 11-of 18 shots at the foul line.
Tiesha Flagler led FIT with a double-double 19-points and 10 boards and Kailyn Ebb followed suite with 12 rebounds and 10 points.
