ALBANY, GA – The Lady Wildcats of Fort Valley State traveled to Albany, Ga., to play the Lady Rams of Albany State University in volleyball on Tuesday, October 3 but were unsuccessful and were defeated 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 8-25, 12-25).
 
FVSU lost the first set 25-20 but fought back to win the second set 25-19. The Lady Wildcats failed to overcome the next two sets and were defeated.
 
Alana Joseph led the Lady Wildcats with six kills, Ashley Simmons-Blair and Rita Davis both contributed seven digs apiece. Davis also added 15 assists.
 
FVSU will travel to Macon, Ga to face Wesleyan College on Monday, October 9 with a game time set for 6 pm.
