Box Score FORT VALLEY, GA – The Lady Wildcats volleyball team will miss three outstanding senior student-athletes in
Ayauna Ellis,
Justice Stegall and
Maya Stewart as they played in their final home game of the season for Fort Valley State University.
Ellis (MB, 6-0) from Riverdale, GA., ended her season with 22 kills, three assists, 11 service aces, one dig, 12 solo blocks and 10 block assists.
Stegall (MB, 5-11) from Austell, GA., had 53 kills on the year, five assists, nine service aces, 20 digs, 19 solo blocks and 31 block assists.
Stewart (OH, 5-9) from Forsyth, GA., finished the year leading the team with 143 kills, three assists, 16 service aces, 97 digs, three solo blocks and 15 block assists.
The Lady Wildcats dropped the game to Claflin University in four sets 3-1 (14-25, 25-22, 14-25, 12-25) this evening at the HPE Complex on the campus of Fort Valley State.
Alana Joseph led the Lady Wildcats with 16 kills, one assist, three digs and one block assist. Stewart added 12 kills and three digs.
Rita Davis led in assist with 22. Stegall and Ellis finished with one and four kills, while
Ashaunti Brown knocked down five kills.
Cori Griffith added one kill,
Jordan Davis had five digs and
Ashley Simmons-Blair led the team with 10 digs.
