FORT VALLEY, GA – On Saturday, February 18, the Fort Valley State University men's basketball team will travel to Albany, Georgia for their final Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) game with the Rams of Albany State University. The game is scheduled to tipoff at 8 pm.
The two teams faced off in Fort Valley on February 4, with the Wildcats walking away with the victory over the Rams 74-70. This game is an important game for the Wildcats as they are looking for it to propel them on a winning streak as they head to the SIAC Championship Tournament. The tournament is in Birmingham, Alabama at the Bill Harris Arena from February 27 through March 4, 2017. FVSU's overall record is 13-12 and 10-5 in SIAC action and ranked third in the East Division.

Jalen Crawford leads the Wildcats in scoring with 12.1 PPG and dishing out 2.9 assist per game. Senior forward
Denard Williams averages 8.0 RPG for FVSU and 8.4 PPG in scoring. Junior forward
James Barnes is scoring 10.9 PPG and 7.0 RPG for the Wildcats.
