ATLANTA, Ga. – The Wildcats are strong in the late game in 2020 in early January. After being forced to overtime, Jada Sleet scored the opening bucket and finished the extra period by downing all four free throws and helped Fort Valley State ice a women's basketball, 76-68, win at Clark Atlanta.

Following a pair of Panthers (5-11/4-4 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference East) to send the game into overtime with 21 seconds, Sleet connected on a driving layup three ticks into the extra five minutes as the Wildcats (7-8/4-3 SIAC East) never trailed. Leading 69-68 with 47 seconds, Alicia Franklin converted a 3-point play to make it 72-68. Sleet pulled down the defensive rebound and converted two pairs at the charity stripe to seal the win.
