Wildcats Travel to Face Badgers

MOBILE, Ala. – The Wildcats complete their Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Crossover schedule on Wednesday night. Fort Valley State men's basketball faces Spring Hill College on the road in the programs only meeting of the season.

FVSU (3-15/1-7 SIAC East) looks for a repeat of its success on Spring Hill's home court last January. On a tough eight-game skid, the Wildcats ran out to a big 21-point first-half lead and went on for a high-scoring 105-97 victory over the Badgers last Jan. 7. FVSU netted 51 points and 54 points in the game led by career-highs of Jaylon McMillian (40 points) and Thomas Hardy (19 points).
 
FVSU continues to try and reverse its recent late-game troubles as it has lost the last four games by a combined 15 points, including last Saturday's 82-77 final against Savannah State
 
The Badgers (3-15/2-7 SIAC West) take a five-straight loss streak to the matchup. Spring Hill fell 72-59 versus Miles College on Monday night after an 88-79 home decision against LeMoyne-Owen.
