Wildcats Women's Basketball Adds Pair of Exhibition Games

FORT VALLEY, Ga. -- In order to help out other teams needing some additional games, the Wildcats will take to the court two more times in the next two days. Fort Valley State will travel to face NCAA DI University of Alabama at Birmingham on Friday and host fellow Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference member Benedict College for another contest on Saturday.

With the chance of not playing for at least 11 days, UAB called FVSU to set up a game before it heads into the Conference USA Tournament on March 10. The Blazers will play host to the Wildcats on Friday afternoon, March 5, in a 3 p.m. EST tip-off.

On Saturday afternoon (March 6), FVSU is helping out Benedict College, who is trying to make a run at the reduced NCAA Division II Tournament field. The Wildcats hosts the Tigers starting at 2 p.m.
