Fort Valley, Ga- The Wildcat Softball team officially punched their ticket to the SIAC Softball Tournament this past weekend with a three-game sweep of the Clark Atlanta University Panthers on Senior Day. The Wildcats outscored the Panthers 28-8. Everything seemed to go the Wildcat's way as Re'Nesha Goolsby would tally 2 wins to go along with one from Caprice Johnson. There were also some hot bats for the Wildcats as Kaitlin Gardner would have 6 hits and 5 RBIs. Rasheedah Hasan and Morghan Holland would also put on a clinic from the batter's box with a slew of hits. With the sweep, the Wildcats are slated to compete in the SIAC Softball Tournament in Albany, Ga, on May 4-6, 2022.
Jakiyra Lemmon and Riley Jenkins would put on a good showing with 3 RBIs a piece. Amaya Pagan would also give the Wildcat's a boost with 2 hits and 2 RBIs
