FVSU’s Gosier Receives SIAC Field Athlete of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. – For the second time this spring, the Wildcats have a league field honor. Fort Valley State's Donte Gosier received the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week announce Tuesday.

Gosier joined teammates Harold Shirley, Marcus Jefferson and Da'Veon Jenkins as part of the third-place 4x100-meter relay team, which finished with a time of 41.98 seconds when the FVSU teams took part in the Life University Open last Friday. Individually, Gosier leaped to fourth place in the long jump event with a best distance of 6.60 meters.

The FVSU teams have this weekend off until they take part in the SIAC Championships at Morehouse College on Thursday – Saturday, April 27-29.
