COLUMBIA, S.C.- Fort Valley State University men's track & field team closed out the 2025 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Championships with four top-three finishes, capping the weekend in seventh place overall with 46 team points.

Bashan Wesley brought home a pair of medals, earning runner-up honors in the triple jump with a 14.20m leap, just 0.20m shy of the title, and added a third-place finish in the long jump with a 6.87m mark.

Christian Ector delivered a gritty performance across all three days, competing in 10 events to finish third in the decathlon with a score of 5,570. His best individual event came in the discus throw, where he posted a 35.24m mark.

Solomon Hall rounded out the Wildcats' podium picks, grabbing third in the shot put with a 13.94m throw, just under a meter shy of second place.

FVSU is back in action at the East Coast Relays on Friday, May 2nd and Saturday May 3rd in Jacksonville, Fla.
