FVSU Coaches Caravan Has Successful Stop in Fort Valley Square

FORT VALLEY, Ga. – It was a hot day in middle Georgia, but the Wildcat excitement being talked about exceed the summer temperatures! The Fort Valley State Coaches Caravan had a successful stop in the Fort Valley downtown square late Saturday afternoon.

With the Fort Valley, Warner Robins and Bibb County FVSU Alumni Chapters on hand, the Wildcat Director of Athletics Dr. Renae Myles Payne and the head coaches shared their new department vision of Elevate the Growl and outlooks for the teams.

The FVSU athletics department was also blessed on Saturday afternoon with donation checks including the three alumni chapters, City of Fort Valley and two other checks presented heading into the fast approaching 2023-24 academic year.

The FVSU Coaches Caravan will have its final stop next Saturday, August 5, starting at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Americus, Ga. From 4 to 7 p.m.
