ATLANTA, Ga. – The Wildcats continued their run in the league Wednesday evening. Fort Valley State registered its third Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference shutout in a row with a 3-0 win at Morehouse College.

FVSU (11-7/6-0 SIAC) made quick work of the opening two sets, 25-9 and 25-11, before it ended the match with a 25-21 third-set final over Morehouse.

Oshane Farquharson and Jaxon Hicks each downed five kills apiece to lead the Wildcat frontline. Farquharson hit his five winners in five swings to go with two aces, while Hicks had two blocks. Jamil Scott added four kills and Rashaun Wright chipped in three kills, two aces and five blocks.

Jaequon Henderson handed out 11 assists, lined an ace and had a block. Devin Harris added seven assists and an ace of his own. Diego Cardona dug 12 attacks on the back row.

FVSU has a week off until it hosts Reinhardt University in its home finale next Wednesday, April 3, in a 5 p.m. first serve.
