Wildcats Have Enough, Defeat Golden Tigers

FORT VALLEY, Ga. – The Wildcats returned to their tough ways on Tuesday night at home. Sayerr Senghore sank the first of a pair of free throws with five seconds and Fort Valley State had enough to defeat Tuskegee University, 66-65, on the men's basketball hardwood.

Following a pair of Jaylen Jackson free throws to give him a team-high 24 points and FVSU a four-point lead with 2:14 left. Tuskegee made the first bucket and then the game's leading scorer Kevin Sesberry tied the contest for a sixth time in the second half, 65-65, with 38 ticks on the clock. The Wildcats took over and Senghore was fouled on the inside with five seconds remaining.
