ATLANTA, Ga.- Fort Valley State University Women's Basketball's Marley Bell earned spot on the 2024-25 Southern Intercollegiate Conference (SIAC) All-Freshman Team after stellar freshman campaign, Wednesday morning. 

Bell participated in all 27 contests this season earning a start in 20. By the end of the season she banked 231 point which stemmed from a 42.4 shooting percentage from the field. She also tallied a 42.9 shooting percentage from behind the three point line and 66 percent from the free throw line. 

Bell is quite the balanced player for the Wildcats. On top of her offense she added a stellar defensive front. She nabbed 157 rebounds to lead the team. Bell also led the team in blocked shots with 28 and was a top contributor in steals with 33. 

Bell came to Fort Valley from Montgomery County High School and plays both women's basketball and softball for the Wildcats.
