FORT VALLEY, Ga.- Fort Valley State University men's volleyball has been named the number one seed in the SIAC Tournament after a perfect 12-0 regular season record. The Wildcats will also be hosting the tournament in the HPE building on Tuesday, April 15 and Wednesday, April 16.
The SIAC announced the bracket with first contest on Tuesday being played at 10:00 a.m. between the No.3 seeded Central State University and No. 6 seeded LeMoyne-Owen College. The second match of the day will be played at 12:30 p.m. between the No. 4 seeded Benedict College and No. 5 seeded Morehouse College. The No. 2 seed, Edward Waters University, will play the winner of the CSU and LOC contest at 3:30 p.m. The top seeded Fort Valley State Wildcats will play the winner of the BC and MHC match at 6:00 p.m. to conclude day one.
Wednesday will kick off with the match to determine fifth place. This will be played at 10:00 a.m. between the game one and game two losers. The next contest will be the third place duel at 12:30 p.m. between the Game three and game four losers. The championship will take place at 3:00 p.m. between the game three and game four winners.
