4/17/2025 6:48:00 PM

FORT VALLEY, Ga.- Director of Athletics Daphnie Johnson announces Tymesia Miller as head coach of Fort Valley State Women's Volleyball.

Miller returns to the Valley after a coaching stop at SIAC foe Edward Waters University. She has coached at various levels from middle school all the way to the university level.

As a player, Miller was a two-time All-Conference player at Polk Community College, before transferring to Fort Valley State University. In the 1994 season, Miller was ranked in the top five of the SIAC in total blocks and blocks per game for the Wildcats.

There are many plans put in place by the new leader of the Wildcats. Miller wants to make necessary changes to inspire growth for the women's volleyball program with an SIAC title being the goal.
