LEXINGTON, KY.- Fort Valley State University men's volleyball outside hitter
Isaiah Fedd has been named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Player of the Week.
Fedd put up impressive numbers during the two Wildcat matches in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Tournament. He tallied 32 kills hitting .451 percent. He also recorded six service aces on offense. On defense, Fedd covered the floor with 16 digs while working at the net with a solo block and two block assists. His efforts accounted for 40 points through two matches. Fedd averaged 4.57 kills per set and 5.71 points per set.
Fedd is the first player in Fort Valley State history to win this honor.
The Wildcats await the NCAA Tournament selection show on Sunday, May 4th for their next opponent. FVSU will travel to NCAA Championships host Ohio State University to compete for a National Championship.
