INDIANAPOLIS, IN.- Fort Valley State University men's volleyball (18-9) has been selected as the No. 8 seed for the NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship Tournamament.
The Wildcats will face the No. 1 overall seed, Long Beach State University (27-3), on Thursday, May 8, at 5 p.m. ET. All matches for the championship will be held at the Covelli Center on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, with every contest streamed live on ESPN+.
The Wildcats go back-to-back in the NCAA NC Championship as the first HBCU to qualify for the tournament. They double as the first SIAC program to reach the NC Tournament when the automatic bid was granted to the conference winner in 2023 for the 2024 season.
In the rest of the bracket, No. 4 Loyola Chicago will take on No. 5 Pepperdine University, while No. 3 UCLA will face No. 6 Belmont Abbey College. No. 2 Hawaii will meet the winner of the play-in match between Daemen University and Penn State University.
