FORT VALLEY, Ga. – The Fort Valley State University Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track & Field teams will hold walk-on tryouts from Monday, August 25, 2025, through Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the Wildcat Stadium track.

Tryouts will start at 4:00 p.m. on Monday and Thursday while on Tuesday and Wednesday they will start at 3:00 p.m. Announcements will be made on Friday.

Monday and Thursday will be for jumpers and sprinters. Tuesday will be for mid-distance and distance runners. Wednesday will be for throwers.

Eligibility Requirements

• Completed tryout form (available in the Track & Field Office, HPE Room 332)
• Physical examination dated within the past 3 months
• Proof of sickle cell test results
• Front and back copies of a valid health insurance card
