ATLANTA, Ga. – Fort Valley State University Men's Volleyball placed two Wildcats on the Preseason All-SIAC (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) Team, with
Isaiah Fedd and
Taviian Martin earning selections. FVSU was also picked to finish first in the SIAC as the defending regular-season and tournament champions.
Fedd was named the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and selected to the First Team as an outside hitter. The reigning SIAC Player of the Year returns to the Valley for his senior campaign after an outstanding 2025 season, where he recorded 84 kills, averaging 3.50 per set, while hitting .448 over 10 matches. He led the conference with 18 service aces (.75 per set) and totaled 108.5 points. Defensively, Fedd registered 34 digs (1.42 per set) and posted a stellar .997 serve reception percentage on 88 attempts, along with 10 total blocks.
Martin was voted to the First Team as a middle hitter. He returns after finishing SIAC play with 44 kills (2.20 per set) and a .360 hitting percentage across 10 matches. He added six service aces and totaled 62 points on the season. Defensively, Martin was a presence at the net with a team-high 19 blocks (.95 per set), while also contributing 26 digs (1.30 per set).
FVSU Men's Volleyball was selected to finish first overall in the SIAC as the Wildcats look to secure their third straight regular-season and tournament championships and another Division I Elite Eight appearance. The program is led by back-to-back SIAC Coach of the Year, Lawrence Wrather.
FVSU opens the 2025 season on the road at Queens University of Charlotte on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 3 p.m.
