FORT VALLEY, Ga. – Fort Valley Men's Volleyball (3-8) had a hard-fought split with Quincy University at home this past Friday and Saturday at Woodward Gymnasium, showing resilience across both matches.
In the Friday match, Fort Valley battled through five competitive sets but fell to Quincy, 3–2. The Wildcats started the evening strong with winning the first two sets of the match 25-18 and 25-21.
Isaiah Fedd led the offense with 22 kills, while
Keaton Long added 12 kills.
Logan Rogers orchestrated the attack with 25 assists while
Taviian Martin posted 6 blocks and Long anchored the defense with 11 digs.
The Wildcats flipped the script in Saturday's match, earning its first home win of the season with a nail biting 3–2 victory. The Wildcats set the tone early with a dominant 25–13 first set and closed strong by taking the final two sets, 25–22 and 15–12.
Isaiah Fedd delivered a standout performance with 24 kills and a .250 hitting percentage, while
Keaton Long added 8 kills and 5 blocks.
Logan Rogers had a stellar performance with 35 assists and libero
Jaeden Barnes protected the Wildcats with 18 digs.
The Wildcats will host the Emmanuel University Lions on Tuesday, February 17
th at 6:00pm ET in the Woodward Gymnasium.
