COLUMBUS, Ga— Fort Valley powered past Miles College with a dominant 6–0 shutout, using timely hitting and strong pitching to control the game from start to finish.
The Wildcats broke through in the third inning when Megan Blanks launched a two-run home run to center, giving FVSU an early lead they never surrendered. Zoe Molina and Tayler Graham added key hits throughout the game, while Marley Quammie sparked the offense with her speed and aggressive baserunning.
The Wildcats sealed the win in the seventh, scoring three runs behind an RBI single from Molina and bases-loaded walks from Graham and Quammie.
In the circle, Danielle Bacon delivered a complete-game shutout, holding Miles College scoreless and shutting down every threat.
The Wildcats' balanced offense and dominant pitching led to a convincing 6–0 victory to solidify a spot in the 2026 SIAC Softball Championship game on Thursday, April 30, at 2 p.m. EST in Columbus, Ga at the South Commons Softball Complex.
