Greta Renfus currently serves as the Head Coach for the Fort Valley State University Cheer Team. Renfus has been the Fort Valley State University cheer coach for the past 4 years where it has been an eventful and rewarding experience. Renfus is a Savannah State University alumna where she majored in biology and minored in chemistry. Prior to coming to Fort Valley State University, she served as cheer coach at Miller Middle School in Bibb County for 7 years. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from SSU in 1996 and later received her Master’s of Science degree in 2008 from Troy State University in Post-Secondary Education. She is currently an Academic Coach at Weaver Middle School in the Bibb County Public School System in Macon, Georgia.
Renfus, a native of Macon, Georgia has a loving blended family which includes her husband, Dereck; two sons, Gerrod and Jaelin, and three step daughters, D’oneca, Asia, and Zhoria.
