In his third year, Devin Clark coaches the defensive line at Fort Valley State. Last season, coach Clark helped the Wildcats have two All-SIAC players (Demetrius Harris and Jahseari Patterson). Harris was also the SIAC Defensive Player of the Year and Don Hansen All-Super Region 2.
The Batesville, Miss., native graduated from South Panola High School where he won two state championships, (5A State Champ in 2007-2008) and (6A State Champ in 2009-2010), which was ranked No. 3 in the nation. Clark played in the Mississippi vs. Alabama All-Star game.
The former 6A Defensive Player of the Year signed with the University of Memphis out of high school, which he attended for two years. Clark then finished his college career at Fort Valley State and he was part of the 2016 SIAC Conference Championship team.
Devin is the son of McKenzie A. Clark of Batesville, Miss.
