Joel Hirsch enters his second season on the staff as a graduate assistant at Fort Valley State University and serves as film coordinator and tight end/fullbacks coach.
Hirsch is a native of Michigan City, Indiana where he attended Michigan City High School. Hirsch earned his undergraduate degree from Trine University in Angola, Indiana. Hirsch received his degree with a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies. Hirsch played quarterback his freshman year then was moved to Tight End at Trine. After he was done playing, he was a student coach for Trine in spring of 2016.
Hirsch is enrolled in the Master’s program working towards his Bachelor of Science in Mental Health Counseling.
