Another notable “Playmaker” Wade coached was Steven McIntosh, who ranked 8th (rec/game) in the SWAC.  In his second year, Wade helped groom wide receiver/return specialist Booker T. Chamber into one of the most dynamic playmakers in the nation, where he ranked 7th in the nation in all-purpose yards for the 2018 season. Chambers was a Conerly Finalist (top college football player in Mississippi) and was named an FCS (D1-AA) All-American.  Chambers also earned All-SWAC 1st Team as a return specialist & All-SWAC 2nd Team as a wide receiver.

In 2014, Coach Wade was named as the first head football coach at Middle College High School in Memphis, Tenn.  Wade also served as the head track coach, Athletic Director, & Administrative Assistant at Maxine Smith STEAM Academy from 2014-2017. In 2016, the Middle College High School football team was named Fox 13 (Memphis) Team of the Week after starting the season 4-0 and averaging (40.0) points per game.  In Wade’s third year as head coach at MCHS, his team had finished every season with a winning record and made playoff appearances.

From 2010-2014, Wade could be located standing on the sidelines as the head football and head track coach for Fairview Middle School in Memphis, Tenn.  During his time at Fairview, Wade taught Physical Education, while he also served as a regional scout/evaluator for the Tennessee Future Stars from 2011-2017.

During his playing days at Mississippi Valley State University, Wade was named MVSU Most Outstanding wide receiver in 2004 and broke the school record for longest receiving touchdown in school history (82 yards’ vs Grambling).  In 2016, Wade was named to MVSU’s All-Decade Football Team (2000-2010).
