Kentron Jmaes named SIAC Defensive Player of the Week in week three, after a 37-31 triple overtime defeat of Clark Atlanta. James finished with a game-high 16 tackles including 13 solo stops for Fort Valley State.

The 5’10, sophomore from Tallahassee, Fla. recorded three tackles for loss resulting in nine yards. James also recovered a fumble and recorded a pass breakup.
