JUAN SERNA (K/P, 5-8, 180, FR) FROM DOUGLASVILLE, GA/DOUGLAS COUNTY
Serna was named SIAC Specialist of the Week, after kicking the game winning field goal from 40-yards with time running out to lift Fort Valley State over Benedict, 33-30. In the 2nd quarter he kicked a 43-yard field goal to send the Wildcats to half down 16-17. Serna punted 7 times for 225-yards (32.1-yard avg.) and 6 kickoffs for 349-yards (58.2-yard avg.).
