In helping the Wildcats secure their first SIAC and first victory of the season, Alicia Franklin is the FVSU Female Athlete of the Week (Nov. 21-27). Franklin averaged 23.5 points, 6 rebounds and 2.5 steals in the team's two SIAC games.
Last Saturday, Franklin netted 20 of her game-high 28 points in the second half to help propel FVSU to a 62-57 win over Kentucky State. She added 7 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist in the game.
Monday night, Franklin scored all 19 of her points in the second half, including 13 in the fourth quarter, as the Wildcats rally fell short against the Marauders of Central State. She also had 5 rebounds and 3 steals on the night.
