After a big pitching weekend at the SIAC Crossover, Kayla Brown is the Wildcats Female Athlete of the Week for March 11-17. The freshman registered a 2-1 record over 20.2 innings, a 2.03 ERA and a one-hitter in 5 appearances. Brown also had three hits and three RBI at the plate. She finished the weekend by limiting Lemoyne-Owen to one hit and struck out a season-best 10 batter in the 4-1 FVSU win. Kayla also started the weekend with a complete-game win over Miles where she allowed only one run as well in a 3-1 victory.
