Coming on strong in the circle, FVSU softball's Kayla Phillips earns the Wildcats Female Athlete of the Week award. Phillips went 3-0 with a 1.67 ERA in 3 complete games pitching and hit .385 with a pair of doubles over FVSU's last four games for the honor. Phllips won the final two games of the 3-game series with Clark Atlanta, including a two-hit and one earned run and a 3-for-3 day hitting in game 3. In the SIAC Crossover against Miles College, Kayla scattered six hits and one earned run for the win and lined a run-scoring double.
