For the first Wildcats Athletes of the Week, Diamond Jones continued with her consistent back court play including connecting on the most 3-pointers by a FVSU player this spring with five in the win over Allen University last Saturday.

Against Allen, Jones made 6-of-12 shots from the floor with 5-of-10 from beyond the arc for 19 points. She also swiped six balls and handed out seven assists in the win. The point guard added 15 points, six steals and three assists versus Savannah State.

In the two games, Jones averaged 17.0 points, 6.0 steals, 5.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds.
