After his best game of his FVSU career, football linebacker DeMarcus Harris is the Wildcat Men's Athlete of the Week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6. The senior defender had a career-high nine tackles, 4.5 of those for a loss, a pair of sacks and a pass breakup to lead the FVSU defense as part of the 48-14 win at Edward Waters. Harris' efforts aided the BlueDeath Defense to holding its third opponent in five games to negative rushing yards at -37 yards.

Harris is the second-leading tackler on the Wildcats with 20 tackles and 4.5 for a loss. He also has two sacks, four quarterback hurries and two pass breakups in five games.
