Fort Valley State University and Tuskegee University set to play in 2012 SIAC Football Championship Game
 
Atlanta—The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) 2012 Football Championship is set, as West Division Champion Tuskegee will play East Division Champion Fort Valley, Saturday, November 10th, 8 p.m. at Lakewood Stadium in Atlanta, GA.
 
The game will feature a regular season rematch from a game won by Tuskegee earlier this season. The Golden Tigers defeated Fort Valley 49-18 in a game played on September 29th at Cleve Abbott Stadium in Tuskegee. Fort Valley State advanced to the Championship game by defeating Albany State 38-20 at the 23rd Annual Fountain City Classic, while Tuskegee won the West Division by stunning defending 2011 SIAC Champion Miles 27-17 at Albert J. Sloan Stadium in Fairfield, AL.
 
On Friday, November 9th at noon, there will be a SIAC Football Championship Press Conference held in the media room at Lakewood Stadium. All members of the media are encouraged to attend. For all media credentials, please visit www.thesiac.com and go to the media tab to submit credential request no later than Thursday, November 8th.
 
Advanced tickets can be purchased online at http://www.thesiactickets.com/ through Wednesday, or at participating schools through Friday. All tickets on the day of the game will be sold for $20.
