Box Score FORT VALLEY, GA (October 18, 2014) – Freshman running back
Jalen White rushed for 136-yards in back-to-back 100-yards games while leading Fort Valley State University to victory over non-conference Limestone College 24-19 on Saturday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium.
FVSU improves its overall record to 5-2 and 3-1 in the SIAC and Limestone falls to 2-5 overall.
Limestone scored first with 12:36 on the clock in the first quarter, Jason Free blocked FVSU's punt and recovered by Rodrea Brown for Limestone at FVSU 40. Two plays later, DeAnthony Neal scored from 7-yards out; Jonathan Ray's PAT kick was good for a 7-0 score.
The Wildcats did not score in the first quarter, but added two scores in the second quarter.
Malcolm Eady connected on a 68-yard touchdown pass to
Drelon Freeman to cap a 4 play, 80-yard drive.
Juan Serna PAT kick was good with 5:08 left before half. Then, Eady scored from one yard out with 19 seconds left to give the Wildcats a 14-7 lead. Serna PAT kick was good.

LeRon Furr picked off Clark's pass and returned it 17-yards to Limestone's 13 with 10:09 left in the third quarter. One play later Titus Williams intercepted Eady's pass at FVSU 2. The very next play Clark hit D'Anta Fleming for a 98-yard touchdown. Ray's PAT was blocked by
Billy Sparks as the Saints closed the gap 13-14.
With 3:57 left in the third quarter, White rushed 3-yards for the score to increase the lead to 21-13; Serna PAT kick was good to end a 10 play, 61-yard drive.
Serna finished FVSU scoring with a 49-yard field goal to improve the score 24-13 with 7:01 remaining in the game.
Limestone's Clark answered call with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Jumill Hornsby ending an 8-play, 75-yard drive. Benjamin Ziegler PAT pass attempt failed.
FVSU had 414 total yards of offense, while holding Limestone to 284-yards. The Wildcats rushed for 320-yards and 94-yards through the air. FVSU's defense helded Limestone to just 60-yards rushing and 224- yards passing.
White led the Wildcats with 136-yards and one touchdown,
Taylor Head added 70-yards,
Jonquez Sanders 61 and Eady 43 yards and a touchdown. DeAnthony Neal led Limestone with 48-yards.
Eady completed 6-of-16 passes for 94-yards and one touchdown, while Clark connected on 11-of-25 passes for 224-yards and two scores.
Drelon Freeman had one touchdown to lead the Wildcats with 68-yards and Limestone's D'Anta Williams had two catches for 114-yards.
Furr led the Wildcats on defense with 12 tackles, 1.5 tackle-for-loss, one interception, one pass break-up and one quarter back hurry.
Stefon Harper added 11 tackles, one sack, while
Bernard Little collected 7 tackles, a half sack and 3 quarterback hurries.
Justin Rogers led the Saints with 11 tackles, 1 sack and 1.5 tackle-for-loss and Evan Patrick with 7 tackles.
The Wildcats will host the Lions of Paine College on Saturday, October 25 for homecoming at 2 p.m. Paine holds a 1-0 lead, as the teams last meeting came in 1946.
